Attributes were derived from their data collection and/or from review of available aerial photography. Limitations of the data: Locations and functions have not been verified with the operating railroads. Boundaries are generally digitzed by review of the available aerial photography and may include more or less property than owned/managed by the railroad.

Copyright Text: Names and locations derived from the data collection effort by the fifteen Kentucky Area Development Districts. Some data was verified by review of online mapping provided by the railroad companies Canadian National, CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern, Paducah and Louisville and RJ Corman Railroad Group. Functions of some railyards were verified from railroad company online marketing materials.
